Run away from Granny and Grandpa

Created by user @TUK3_GAMING, Granny Chapter Two is a free Roblox experience inspired by the Granny series from indie developer Dennis Vukanovic, who is also known as Dvloper. The original Granny games have 3D graphics and are played in first-person, with the premise lying in the player hiding and escaping from the titular antagonist.

While Granny Chapter Two is in third person, the premise remains the same. Much like the original, it also boasts 3D graphics—though the designs of Granny and Granpa are translated into Roblox-style visuals, making them less terrifying for players.

Explore with caution

In Granny Chapter Two, the player finds themselves in a cramped bedroom in the basement of Granny and Grandpa’s house. Opening the door, the player explores the basement and finds a flight of stairs leading to the first floor. On the first floor, there are rooms for you to hide, a piano, and a spider-like abomination that is Slendrina’s child

Going up the stairs to the last floor, you’ll find the dining area as well as a few rooms. However, there doesn’t seem to be a way to escape the house, so players are stuck with hiding and being chased by Granny and Grandpa. Getting hit by either of the antagonists, though, will deplete your life bar—and if you die—you will respawn in the basement bedroom.

As for the drawbacks, the narrow layout of the house—especially the basement—makes running away from Granny and Grandpa more difficult. Your character’s head also tends to clip through the ceiling if you stand on a sofa or climb a shelf. In addition to that, there are instances when Grandpa or Granny would be stuck or clip through an object or wall, trying to hit you.

A not-so-scary Granny-inspired game

Overall, Granny Chapter Two is a toned-down version of the original games, with Grandpa and Granny now sporting Roblox-inspired designs to give them a less terrifying appearance. While you can’t escape from these antagonists, you can hide in rooms to keep yourself safe. It’s important to remember that, unlike Dvloper’s Granny, this Roblox experience is only played in the third-person perspective.
